Description

This placemat is handmade using discharge printing, or extract printing, in which the motifs are created by dying the fabric first, and then removing some of the color with a bleaching agent. Each pattern is subtly unique, and reflects inspiration that comes from nature and local scenery. The dyes are natural and plant-based, giving rich, warm tones to the fabric. The placemats are double-layered for extra heft and durability. They look excellent on the table.
