Description

This classic Karatsu chazuke bowl highlights deep black and pale yellow glazes. Black glaze is an "iron glaze" that contains iron, and the pale yellow glaze is "straw ash glaze" which is milky. This style can be seen in traditional items from the Momoyama period. Perfect chazuke style for chazuke dish, a small salad or soup.
