Description

This classic Karatsu chawan highlights deep ame and pale yellow glazes. Ame glaze is an "iron glaze" that contains iron, and the pale yellow glaze is "straw ash glaze" which is milky. This style can be seen in traditional items from the Momoyama period. Perfect chawan style for rice, tea or small bites.
