Description

A lot of fragrances in Japan come from overseas, and so there are very few that are made with Japanese tastes in mind, or that incorporate scents from Japanese nature. Made in Japan, the Kurashi no Kaori candles, are known for their particularly light touch. Kurashi no Kaori — literally ‘fragrance of living’ in English — was established at the tail end of 2021, and offers an approach to home fragrance that is all about curating a sophisticated olfactory calm. The fragrance candle is a pure white candle using a wood chip as a wick. It is made one by one at their atelier in Japan and they have special recipes that make each scent uniformly fresh and refined, but difficult to parse. Each candle burns for approx. 20 hours. 

We recommend using the candle with Kurashi no Kaori's ceramic vessel (sold separately) to have the best experience.
